Opening Doors for Student Success: Course Placement Summit

Tuesday, April 25, 2017 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

St. Cloud State University

Join colleagues from across Minnesota State for a day-long event focused on assessing college readiness, improving course placement decision making, and sharing best practices that widen the road for student success. This summit will provide the opportunity to:

  • Deepen your understanding of current legislation and policies related to course placement and developmental education
  • Share effective practices and interventions for course placement, developmental education, and ESOL
  • Explore evaluation methods for making data-driven decisions and program improvements
  • Collaboratively create an action plan to develop a campus-wide placement and support infrastructure that promotes increased success for students entering and completing their courses of study
